PLACES

Landscape photography is an important part of my practice, offering a counterbalance to the immediacy of my street work. While street photography is driven by instinct and quick observation, working in the landscape allows me to slow down, explore, and become more deliberate in how I approach an image. Both approaches are rooted in attention, but they unfold at very different paces.

I’m drawn to the act of exploration and the quiet experience of being present in a place. In the landscape, I spend time observing how light shifts, how space feels, and how elements come together over time. It becomes a more contemplative process—one that requires patience and a willingness to wait rather than react.

Across both street and landscape work, my focus remains the same: paying close attention to what’s often overlooked. Whether I’m navigating a crowded public space or standing alone in a remote environment, I’m interested in creating images that reflect a sense of presence, atmosphere, and connection. Each approach informs the other, shaping a way of seeing that values both spontaneity and stillness.
